On Saturday, Feb 29, the Electrical Engineering department hosted two workshop for the Girls Lead the Way. Ten Mines students worked with over 45 high school women in a soldering activity they brought home with them. While soldering they learned about basic electrical circuits, LEDs and got a chance to talk to our students about what it is like to be an engineering student.
